Sad to hear last week that he had passed away.
Tony Rivers and the Castaways were well known in the 1960s and I met him several times in my student days.He had a long career in the music business working with Cliff Richard and many others and also sang the theme song of 'The Likely Lads'. When I retired and moved to Spain he lived nearby and we met up. He played at my daughter's wedding in Spain.Smashing chap, even though he kept his hair and I didn't!
